Concept: Decomposition and Reassembly

We produced the motion graphics for the eco-friendly lineup 'Antarctica Lab' from Kolon Sport's representative heavy down series. “ZERO WASTE CIRCULAR MODEL”. Antarctica Lab's mono-material is a product designed with a single material, nylon, from the fabric to the sub-materials, so that it is 100% easily recyclable. Antarctica Lab carries the meaning of providing a new circular method for clothes that have reached the end of their lifespan. The design language is 'Decomposition and Reassembly'. We metaphorically expressed the new circular system through a storyline where a sphere representing the mono-material explodes, decomposes, and is reassembled into clothing fabric. We actively used Houdini, X-Particles, and Cinema 4D for delicate 3D simulations of explosions, smoke, and weaving.
